Call it what you want-reliced or road worn-there are quite a few scratches, dings, and a couple areas of missing finish. Most of this stuff comes up frequently on Ebay.Īlso, it is not in pristine condition.
There are a couple minor things missing: 1) one of the control knobs, 2) a cover for the tremolo unit that is almost always missing on these, 3) the logo and serial number badges. Mine plays great, has the tremolo arm (which is so often missing from these old guitars), and is all original. Here are a couple videos of this model guitar in action: This guitar has a great vintage vibe, a beautiful deep red finish, and is one of the more sought after Japanese Teisco models from the 1960s. I have a vintage Teisco Del Rey K2L electric guitar, probably from 1968. Vintage Teisco K2L guitar - great player - $225 (Dupont Circle, DC)
